How Our Book Clubs Work

1. Within 24 hours of joining our club you will be added to our Google Classroom community. Here you will have access to our class materials, Zoom discussion links, and more. Please review our detailed instructions for Google Classroom before enrolling in a club.

2. With this particular club, purchasing the short stories is unnecessary. They will be available in our Google Classroom.

3. Follow the weekly reading guides and answer the questions as you read.

4. Answer the expansion questions after reading and complete the activities. These will be corrected and returned to you before the following week.

5. Participate in our weekly group discussions via Zoom, and share your thoughts about each week’s reading with your classmates!

  • "Making a choice that is 1 percent better or 1 percent worse seems insignificant in the moment, but over the span of moments that make up a lifetime these choices determine the difference between who you are and who you could be. Success is the product of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations."

    James Clear, Atomic Habits

  • "People get so caught up in the fact that they have limits that they rarely exert the effort required to get close to them."

    James Clear, Atomic Habits

  • "It is easy to get bogged down trying to find the optimal plan for change: the fastest way to lose weight, the best program to build muscle, the perfect idea for a side hustle. We are so focused on figuring out the best approach that we never get around to taking action. As Voltaire once wrote, ‘The best is the enemy of the good.'"
